Location of OBD plug-in on 1999 V10 Ford on Holiday Rambler Vacationer
I am having difficulty locating the OBD access plug-in on my 1999 Holiday Rambler, 34.5 foot Vacationer. The service engine soon light is on so I assume it should have the OBDI or II. I have taken cover off the underside of the steering column and see nothing that stands out as the receptacle. Also, I see nothing else under the dash that looks like the receptacle. Does this unit in fact have an OBD receptacle? If so, could someone explain exactly where it is located and a description of what I should be looking for.

It's usually on the steering column. Mine is on the right side towards the top.

Thanks, but still nothing that looks like a receptacle. I appreciate your quick response. Perhaps, if it exposed, you could take a picture and e-mail it to me? I have taken off the lower cover of the steering column and can look up further on the column and there is nothing there. Again, thanks.

Mine is a 2008 and I'm not at my MH. You may want to post this on the Ford forum. Maybe someone there with a 1999 can assist you further. And Welcome to IRV 2

This receptical is about 1 x 2.5 inches. It's black and has an attached cover to protect the inside connections. Mine was hard to get to and see. It was on the the right side of the steering column about 2 ft off the floor.

The connector is shipped from Ford with a 18 inch cord attached to the outlet. This is so the MH manuf. can move it around if he dash covers it. It will be in an 18 inch arch of the steering column.

94 f53 mine is under the doghouse in a cover on the driver's side near the front - "Plugs" into a black soft plastic cover so it is upright when stored. Maybe that will help...
