There is no upside to religion or politics on a forum. Gun discussions are politics. Those who practice a religion don't talk about it here, and those who carry don't talk about it here either. Its just that simple.

I can exclaim Brand X is better than Brand Y coach or that flat tow is better than tow dolly and torque off a bunch of people without so much as a peep, but if I talk religion or politics or guns, the Boo Birds cry fowl. Haha. See what I did right there... I guess policy is policy and if we want to discuss certain issues we should do it where it is acceptable.

A very wise woman once told me religion and politics are a personal decision and should never be discussed in public.
Have you noticed over the centuries how many wars have been started from both these issues and somehow they all involve guns!
The rules make perfect sense to me.

Get a small waste basket that safe will fit into.
Place the safe in the wastebasket.
Now buy a fake dirty diaper that looks soiled.
Place that on top of the safe.
Problem solved.

This is the portion of our rules that apply :
" General discussions of politics, general government policies, weaponry, gun rights and religion are not allowed in ANY areas of iRV2. Discussions about current or pending legislation or regulations, weapons and religion that directly pertain to RVing are acceptable but will be closed or removed if they wander off topic or become disruptive"
Here is a link to previous discussions that may be helpful.

Now , let's get back to the topic .

Hmmm, this sounds like a plan unless the intruder is wearing gloves....
however not sure I would want to see it myself, maybe just some crumpled paper or clothes to make it look like a laundry basket... or a laundry basket in the closet would be ideal, you could make a false bottom inside the basket.... ??

I can slide out (remove) my bottom drawer on my dresser and mounted a safe to the floor underneath. $30 at Harbor Freight. Large enough for whatever you want to put in it. Safe? What Safe?
