I have a '02 Gulf Stream Independence and on our last trip the plunger (pot metal) broke while we were outside and had to get a lock smith to jimmie the door open. Having an extremely difficult time locating a replacement.
Any ideas??

People we camp hosted next to this summer had the same problem with their MH door. He searched online and found a replacement online for as I remember 65 dollars delivered In Two days to the camp ground. Take the old one out, get the make and model and search by that. Should turn up dozens of people selling them

If it is the dead bolt style, just go to lowes or home depot for a new one. It will even have install instuctions in the box. Price range $8.00 and up. Hope this helps.

I live several states over and the shipping is still really fast. Good people at PPL. Have ordered many times from them and never had any problems at all.

trimark 060-0650 locked us out

Stuck outside with kids and wife having to climb out of our 2007 gulfstream independence window. Poor beagle stuck inside. Evidently a 5 inch piece of potmetal used on a very expensive rv door. Lock broke in locked position. it was a B*&% to get out, no locksmith or help in the mountains of nh. sustained some ugly damage to the door and casing. will get some aluminum, paint it and fold a long length along door edge, up to the design , or pay 400-500 to replace the whole door and casing. any other ideas. oh and the lock to replace $69.16 on tweety.com
