Long way home
Hi , my class a rv has left quebec canada in december of 2019, i was wondering do i have a problem if i leave it more then one year out of the country, i will be taking it back soon but it might be passed one year. The worst that they could ask is an inspection, but i am confident it is perfect condition, if anyone could help me with this one , thanks in advance

If you've maintained your insurance and registration in Quebec , I don't see that there is an issue .
Do you need an annual inspection to renew your registration ?
Anything in your insurance paperwork about continued out of province use?

Hey Dany,
Are you saying your motorhome has been stored in the USA for over a year?
Batteries may be an issue i am sure even if grounds were removed, but recharging may rectify along with fluid level of them
Service engine, generator and if equipped hydronic water system.
Check tire pressure and inspect tires
Exercise generator with AC units or an Electric heater for load to ensure functionality
My gut feeling you should be fine but maintenance is always encouraged,
greg

I had made a complete mechanical inspection pre trip,, completly changed 8 tires and batteries, and have them hooked up to1000w solar panel, so i am confident that every thing should be good, i am registered as a quebec vehicule and i have left it active, but i have insurance with progresive since my quebec company didnt have insurance past 6 months in usa. And as mentioned the worst would be a complete year without moving,

Dany,
May have missed it, are your more concerned with re-entry to Canada? Then coach condition ? Then I missed it.
But either way do maintenance prior to traveling and have records if you need them for re-entry to Canada and ensure they meet Canadian requirements
Travel safe weird times,
Greg
