Having purchased 7 NEW coaches in the last 25 years, get ready to lose $75,000 to $100,000 12 months after you purchase that $750,000 new motorhome. That's the reality of buying new. Buying the right one first is about as likely as winning a lottery. Buying a two year old luxury coach will give just as good service as a new one but leave you with a bunch of money in your account for future modification or changes to fit your needs.

I know from whence I speak.

Personally, I would consider a slightly used coach. Save a lot of money, they have probably had the kinks worked out of them already. I would also consider a used Newell coach if looking at the upper end of your range. First class, outstanding customer service, incredible quality. Worth checking out. My next coach, if there is a next coach, will be a Newell. Good luck and happy travels!

Lots of great advice provided. I agree with the camp that advocates finding a floor plan your DW and you are most comfortable with. Sort the part time travelers when (if) they participate.

We built our first coach planning on full family participation that never occurred. Our current coach was selected because it's comfortable for the 99% of the time that it is my DW and I.

Lots of great choices out that, not sure of your experience level but you could rent a few times and see what works for you before taking the big plunge.

Best of luck.

Thank you. That does make a lot of sense.
