Looking for Experience Slide mechanic in South Florida

We have 3 Lippert hydraulic slide rooms in our 2014 38'Forest River Georgetown XL. ALL THREE NEED SKILLED ADJUSTMENTS. When fully extended the inside drops down too far, causing impact of inside trim with the tile floor. Outside the bottom of the slides are scuffing the plywood bottom floor, shaving off the wood.

It has been seen by several mobile and RV shops who say they know HOW to adjust slides, but become confused if the adjustment screws need to go up pr down in order to resolve BOTH issues.

Anyone know of a true expert on South Florida (or close). I am not looking for a YouTube wonder. Lippert can't or won't make recommendation, and Forest River says call Lippert.

Thanks.
Paul

Have you called any Forest River Dealers in the South Florida Area?

I don't know where specifically you are located. I don't know a technician with the skills you need to properly adjust your slide. If I was in your predicament I would:

1. Go to google maps and locate the nearest Forest River dealer and see if they have a qualified technician that can do this adjustment.

2. If you have no luck with that then try any class A dealer to see if they have a qualified technician.

3. Third option is an independent RV repair shop.

I am certain that someone out there can adjust your slide. You're just gonna have to search one out that has performed this task before or someone with the mechanical aptitude to figure out the adjustment sequence.

Thanks, but the reason I am asking is that I have been to two dealers whose technicians looks at me as though I have two head, I have been visited by three local mobile RV guys who say" we don't do slides"... Lippert cannot/will not recommend nor will Forest River. Heck if I could even get someone to properly diagnose the problem, I could do it myself! I am trying to avoid lipperts suggestion of " adjust down, if that gets worse, adjust up".... Very frustrating
