Hey new neighbor! We live in Spring Branch and take our RV to Texas RV Supply. I'll be there this week to have new Koni FSD shocks installed.
I've tried 4 times to have Iron Horse do work for me. Each time they were booked for 3 months out. Also, the two quotes I got were really high. But I hear they are great.
Tony, the Service Manager at Texas RV Supply, really takes good care of me and I can always get an appointment with approx a 7-day advance notice.
I had them install a Steering Stabilizer 2-years ago. No problem. Then on a trip about 3-months later the stabilizer came loose on one end and on the way home I had to hold the steering wheel at a 90 degree angle to drive straight. When I got home I took it in to Texas RV Supply and Tony got right on it. He called and said that after it moved it must have hit something and it bent a steering rod but he'd already ordered it.
A couple days later I picked up the coach and said "Tony, I kind of think this problem was something you guys caused and..." he cut me off and said, "I know, we're taking care of this no charge." The steering rod was $250 and the labor about 3 hours. They didn't even try to shift blame or cost to me. It was already a zero invoice when I got there. And, we had not discussed any of this upfront when I took the coach in.
That's a good service place right there.
I've also used Beasley Tire Service - they work on Buses and Semis and RVs, too. They do more than tire services but I used them for an alignment.
PS. There is a large Camping World in New Braunfels. I admit I've used their service dept a few times with previous RVs and they've been surprisingly good. Though I don't usually recommend CW.
