Well just to close out this thread, we did it...........
Found a 2004 Pace Arrow 37c (W-22, w/8.1 Chevy), w/ 32K on the clock.

Did the deal in SLC and got a new set of tires thrown in and cash (lots of it) back. The graphics are a bit faded, and I had to buff the coach with Meguires #83 polish as she had been stored outside in Las Vegas for quite some time, but the finish came up quite well.

Added Bilstein's and Sumo's all round, an Ultra RV TCM and ECM, plugs and wires, and hit the road to Florida.

Just got back and the DW loves it !!!! Now she can see out that huge window, and spin her seat around and be part of the group.

4600 miles round trip and averaged 7.6 MPG @ 62-65 mostly, although she really loves 70 on a good road. Hard to keep my foot out of it, but I try.

Picture is just before we pulled out from home. We're on the continental divide.

I'm a happy camper !!!

Too bad about not wanting a W&D and fireplace. I have a 38' fully loaded with only 3575 miles as my husband became gravely ill 6 months after we bought it. Like brand new and extras. 2016 Winnebago Ford V10. Has computer pull out on dash
