Low profile interior door latch

Brand new to RV world, picked up a 2000 Bounder and maiden voyage was great. Carpet out, vinyl flooring in, couple minor fixes on past lack of maintenance items and we are good. One thing I would like to do is find a door latch/handle for the bathroom, the current one is just like any you have in the house, (knob inside and out). When open the door makes the hallway narrow I think a low profile one would mean at least 4 inches of added clearance when open. This weekend we just kept closing the door. Initial searches have come up with nothing and the friend that recommended this site says this is the best source to help out there.

Hi ! Welcome to IRV2! We're sure glad you joined the gang!

Congrats on the new rig! The knob on our bathroom door is a lot smaller than standard home door knobs. You might check with the RV salvage yards for a smaller one. Keep her between the ditches!

Good luck, happy trails, and God bless!

How about something like this? It doesn't stick out as far as a knob. Try this site for other options.
