Magellan 750Nav

I recently purchased a 2001 American Tradition 40TUS, and it had a Magellan 750 Nav unit installed,,, My question, is, This unit any good for anything? or should I just pitch it? I can't find anything online about this GPS, accept that it was very expensive in its day.
Anyone out there know anything about it, or does anyone wish to own one?
Thanks
Grandpa913

I had one years ago. They are very functional, but not nearly as accurate or versatile as the newer self-contained units. Selling it? Probably not going to happen. If you can use it that would be your best bet.

Chuck it. The new ones are much better and will probably have lifetime maps updates included. It's nearly always less expensive to get a new one that to futz around with the old systems.

I have a Magellan unit in the dash of my 2004 Tradition (AC factory option) and Magellan refused to provide either software updates or maps for it. And that was when it was only two years old. Fortunately the same display handles my rear camera, so it's not a total loss.

Also ..... just to show an example of how prices drop as "new" technology ages, I paid almost $1000 for the 750 when I bought it all those years ago.

750 Nav

Thanks All for the replies,,, I am aware of the new units,, I have a Garmin 665 that I switch back and forth from motorcycle to pick up and motor home,,, I just pulled all the stuff out of the motor home we just purchased, it was lots of wire and cable,, and boxes and pieces of stuff,,,, finally got it all out. Like the rest of the world, I will just get another Garmin to leave in the MH, I am sure that a cheap New Tech, Garmin will be better that the old school Magellan,,, I might even spring for one of the new 7 inch screen cheap units with Lifetime maps and just leave it mounted in the coach.
Thanks again for the responses
Grandpa
