Magna Shade

I am interested in the Magna Shade product but have an RV with overhead
wipers. It seems that this would effect the convenience of how the shades are applied. Does anyone have experience with this situation? Thanks in advance!!! DC

Have you contacted Roger at Magna Shade?

Recently I saw a coach with the overhead wipers and wondered the same. I'm assuming the issue is to get the wipers out of the way.

We have the same wiper arm arrangement. It is not ideal, but I have learned how to finesse the cover under them without breaking out the ladder. If I had it to do over again I would still order the Magne Shades.

My last coach was an AC Allegiance with the top mounted wipers. I used the handle end of my long handled washer brush to pry the wipers up and lock them while I mounted the shade. No big deal. FYI, it's spelled Magne Shade.

Thanks all! Jay - You said you would do the same thing?... Your reason?

Also, do RV wipers pull up and out of the way just like standard auto wipers do? If so, I suppose you could just leave them standing up while you are parked. Do you all use the wiper covers that come with? Dave

You do not have to get on a ladder. You do not have to drill into the coach for snaps or have to worry about clamps damaging trim or moldings. The product shows no sign of fading or other deterioration after 5 years.

I do not have the wiper covers, for that you would have to get on a ladder. Yes, the arms do "lock" 90* to the windshield.
