Magnum remote won't turn on

I have a 2014 Itasca Ellipse, and our Magnum remote won't even turn on. I have unplugged the phone chord and then put back in, not luck. I found inverter (brand new to rig) and can see the light is flashing, but can't get my hand in there to reset it.
I can't get fridge to stay on when shore power is unplugged unless I run generator. Any advice would be appreciated.

Inverter not turning on could be due to dead batteries. It is probably an inverter/charger and the batteries may be so low that it cannot turn on enough to begin charging the batteries. There may also be tripped breaker feeding the inverter/charger.

After checking that the batteries are good, if the inverter does not work try a 12V reset by turning off the battery switches (sometimes called salesman switches), waiting 10 minutes and turning back on. There is a reset process for the inverter but this often can work easier (reset process is in the manual).
Let us know what results - there certainly can be some fuses / breakers turned off / bad, etc. that we can help you find.

What inverter do you have in the rig?
We used to have the 1000-watt Magnum Inverter.
