Maintenance in Melbourne,Fl.???

I am a newbie and recently bought a 2008 Itasca Sunova 34 ft.MH. I am mechanically challenged and I am looking for recommendations on where to bring my MH for servicing when the time arrives.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I can't say anything about how good the service is, but a local relatively big RV dealer in Melbourne is called Giant Recreation World. While I have not had any service done there, they were very helpful when I went there for some parts.

They are located on US 1 just about a mile south of the Pineda Causeway.

Quality RV, Inc.
4255 Aurora Road, Melbourne,
FL 32934 (321) 253-3555

I've had to use them a couple of times (I try to do most of my own maintenance) and found them to be reliable and they did some recall work on my Norcold refer as well. IIRC, their $90/hr. labor rate is about par for the area. Bob

I use Ron Osburn, 4101 North US HWY 1, Cocoa, FL 32927. 321.638.4496. He is very busy, suggest call for appointment ahead of when you would like service. He is reasonable and has treated me well.

I live close to the place mentioned on Aurora road. It changed hands a year or so ago. I have not used them for service. I have used them for propane. Since new owners took over have upgraded facilities and store. I would be interested in getting feedback about them.

You may also be interested in our local Winnebago club, Space Coast Winnies. The last outing for this season is next week. If so, give me a call. John & Katie Abbott, 321.255.0246, 321.917.6404. Katie and I are hosting the first rally next season in October at Tropical Palms in Kissimmee.

Maintenance

We camp at Patrick Air Force Base often. We have had problems and every one there recommended a mobile repair service. His name is Charlie. He is the best RV tech I have seen, his prices are more than fair. I can't remember the name of his business, maybe some one who does know it will chime in with the name.

Sorry, I don't remember his business name or number. But he is by far the best I have ever had work on any of my RVs. Next time I go to Patrick Air Force Base I will get his info again. I will also lookm and see if I find his business card.

I found the information. It is "Rolling RV Repair", and the phone number is (321)863 1887. It is nice to be able to recommend someone like Charlie, who is both very good at service, and fair.

Rolling RV Repair is seen a lot in the CG I am at in Melbourne. There are a lot of old Airstreams here and he gets a lot of business from them to keep them working. I have not heard any complaints about his work.

You have to either be active duty or retired military (20+ years) to camp at a military base RV park. They won't let us 4 year tour guys in.....
