Mandalay Headlights Manufacturer?

Hello, I just purchased a 2004 Thor Mandalay 38B which has fogged headlights. I would like to order a new set. Does anyone have an idea who manufactured the headlight for Mandalay in 2004.

Google the DOT number on the headlight lens and that will tell you what vehicle the headlights are from. Mine happened to be from a Lincoln LS.

Fogged headlights are easy to fix. Just cleaned up a set today. First wet sanded them till smooth with 1500 grit wet sand paper, then scrubbed them with a green 3M pad wet. Cleaned them up good with glass cleaner then 4 coats of ZEP floor wax and they look like new! Done a few sets like this with amazing results. Much cheaper than installing new assemblies.

Two good threads to read:

RV headlight sources (Mentions that 2006 Mandalay are Cadillac Escalade.)

http://www.irv2.com/forums/f107/my-p...ts-205068.html

And pictures always help. Like these? (Same as an '06?)

I'm not sure what that picture is. I googled "2005 Mandalay". The thread I mentioned above talks about an '06 being Escalade.

I'm guessing they are the same. Just keep an open eye for an Escalade to look at to be sure.

"Stump Jumper"......Before you run out and buy after market lenses, read this article Daniel Stern Lighting Consultancy and Supply

If you want quality lenses for your coach, you need to buy the new lenses from GM. Everything else will be an aftermarket reproductions that don't meet DOT standards. Even the lenses on your coach installed by the manufacturer are reproductions. They couldn't afford to buy the GM OEM lenses. They are about twice as much from the dealer, but after reading the above article, you'll see that the GM lenses actually shine in the direction they are suppose to, compared to the reproductions.

I used repel with 40% deet. That cleaned the yellow off my head lights. They now look like brand new. I also cleaned the headlights off my daughters headlights and also look like new.

Yes, though it is bug spray, it works great. Colgate tooth past works also.

Just an update. I called Thor and they looked up my motorhome based on the last 6 of the VIN. They told me that the headlights on mine are from a Ford Explorer and the tail lights are from a Lincoln Navigator.
