Marion/Citrus County Florida reputable dealer for class A?

We are from that area and are considering going back there in a couple years. Until them we have been searching for a MH that will fit out budget/needs. We Live in LA now but FL is home base. Anyone have good recommendations? Large or small dealers are ok . All brands

Nature Coast Real in Crystal River, small mostly new trailers, but also has a few used class a's. I've heard good things about Alliance RV in Wildwood.

Little far from where you want but Orlando RV in Winter Park treated me very well. It's an RVone dealer. No I'm not affiliated with them.

We just purchased from LazyDays RV in Seffner, FL (Tampa area which is about 1 1/2 hours south of Ocala). LD is a large dealership with LOTS of Class A's that strives to provide good customer service. Our salesman was David Lewandowski who was very knowledgable. We would be happy to have you use our name as a referral if you decide to go there. Best wishes in your hunt.

You are will be moving back to what might be the epicenter for Rv's at least on the east coast. Just an hour south of you on I-4 is of course LazyDays (who I can recommend) a few mile to the east is the new Camping World a very large location, across the interstate at the same exit is the new Florida Rv, with claims of soon being the largest dealer. In addition I was told that my someone in the construction business that they are starting work on another large dealer site right in that same area. Alliance is close also and then of course Orlando has several large dealer's.

So many MH's so little time, or is that money!

You mention "moving back into the area", but not "travel"?

Have you looked into the housing market here? From what I've heard, Citrus County may offer one of the better buying opportunities in the country today?

Another Lazy Days recommendation too....

One I would not recommend is Lazy Days. They have a hard time with an item called the truth. They are so good at not being truthful, you don't even know you are being taken advantage of. Just my personal experience. They also do an outstanding job at cover up of repairs instead of fixing them.

I already own a house in Citrus County. Hubby is military and ready to retire.

Chuck your story is what prompted me to see alternatives. I am such a newb I don't want to be taken advantage of. I think of your Story often.

So, I guess saying you have "changed your mind" about LD would be an understatement.???

I'll still go there and look, but they do not seem like somewhere I would drop 400k.

I we decide on a part time cheaper rig, maybe...but that is still a long shot.

I know that we have been very lucky the coach that was delivered to us was in good shape. One of the reasons we bought new is that we are smart enough to know that we could not figure out what problems a coach might have in 30 days and have a much better chance of finding problems over the course of a year. Our delivery had minor problems and all were handled by LD some involving upgrades (like the mattress being replaced). Being inexperienced as we are, the opportunity to stay on site and learn how to use the coach was important to us. We know of no other dealership that offers this opportunity (Camping World only gives you a few hours of instruction!) Each experience is individiual...and our good experience is no guarantee that someone else won't have an experience like Brobox.

A friend asked us a question recently...How you tell if a salesman is lying? Answer..His lips are moving!

You know what's lower than a snakes's belly? A salesman. Some would need a ladder to reach a snake's belly!

Sorry. Couldn't resist...
