Marquis 7000 Generator Will Crank But Will Not Start

My Marquis 7000, 7NHMFA26106C will crank, but not start. Worked fine about 2 weeks ago.
Removed fuel line from fuel filter to see if fuel flowing from fuel pump and cranked genset. No fuel ran from fuel pump. Voltmeter shows 9.3Volts at fuel pump.
I then ran wire directly attached to 12V Battery and fuel pump pumped fuel as it should.
Have replaced: Fuel Filter, Control Board, Oil and Filter, Spark Plugs. Any help will be much appreciated.

Sounds like you found your problem, either a low battery of bad/poor connection between the battery and fuel pump.

Thank You for such a quick response. I am unable to reach the top of the fuel pump. Before I "try" to replace the fuel pump, could it be another problem such as a bad solenoid?

Yes, it could be another problem. Once you get the ground cables cleaned and your fuel pumping if it still won't start check the wires.

Mine had the same symptoms it was not fuel related.

A mouse chewed one wire all the way back behind the air cleaner. Had to use a mirror and flashlight to find it! Spliced the wire back together and all was good.

If you need the service manual look in the files tab of the IRV2 site, I uploaded it months ago.

Will post results when I have more information about from testing... I will call Onan on Monday. I measure 9.3Volts when cranking at Fuel Pump "AND" 9.3Volts coming out of New Control Block. Have to ask their tech, or anyone following this post, if fuel pump can run and pump fuel at 9.3Volts.
