Maxx Air fan issue

My exhaust fan has stopped working. It doesn't have power at the connector on the circuit as a multimeter indicates. Power is indicated at the push-button fuse. Thermostats and furnace on the same circuit work.

Winnebago indicates via phone call that there's no inline fuse on the circuit but it looks like that might not be accurate.

Any suggestions on how to further troubleshoot the issue appreciated.

Thanks!

Are you sure there isn't a wall switch for the fan? You wouldn't be the first to miss a dual control on the overhead fans. Sometimes people miss the ON switch and the thermostat turned down to stop the fan from running. Does your fan have a switch to turn it off when the cover is closed? That switch could be bad.

Thanks for the reply. I'll look for a wall switch. Winnebago indicated that it doesn't have an inline fuse so another switch upstream makes sense.

Perhaps if you add information in your signature to identify the year Winnebago and the model you have, someone with a like RV can give you a better answer. Winnebago does have wiring diagrams for their Class A RVs available for download or study.

Thanks! 2016 Winnebago Vista LX 35F. A call to Winnebago indicated that there's nothing that would cause the circuit to fail to provide power. There's power on the circuit post-breaker but not at the connector on the fan.

Did you buy the MH new or are you the second owner? I ask because I don't remember seeing a Max Air fan in the 35F. Is it the one in the Kitchen or the bath? Mine in the kitchen has no switch but the fan housing has a micro switch on it to shut down the fan when you go to close it.

Does yours have a remote? If so then it is temperature controlled and operated from it and it may be stopping it from working?????

I purchased it used in July 2018. The fan is in the center of the coach near the stove. It worked for the first three months with no issues then stopped working two weeks ago. It doesn't have a remote and doesn't appear to have any moisture sensor.

I ordered a replacement switch and this resolved the issue.
