Was working on window install for replacement foggy windows and the day shade on only one window stopped working and all the reset options seem to fail.

The night shade works fine on the same issue.

is this a failed motor or a programming issue.

Motorhome is a 2015 Newmar Dutchstar 4369 and the shades are MCD

First step is to go thru the reprogramming sequence. If that fails, new motor time. When I had to change a motor, they had changed the configuration on the motor, so it wasn't quite a slide in and you are good to go. That was several years ago, so things may have changed.

The factory tech assist was terrific. Had to reprogram the single shade button then the group shade ("All Day" or "All Night").

Once we did that everything works as designed. The tech (Candy?) was patient and did a great with a not so technical person.

Remember the sequence ( or print it off their webpage) as you will need it again. Fairly common problem.
