MH bathroom rebuild

Does anyone have some experience to share on rebuilding bathroom walls and cabinetry from leaking bathroom roof vent?

Bath room rebuild

Totally replaced the walk in shower in our Bounder DP. Pretty easy. The floor pan around the drain was cracked so ordered a new pan and walls from Fleetwood......was not cheap!!!!
Take off doors and any glass. Walls are thin plastic that are basically glued to sub walls...pry off carefully.
Forgot how I loosened drain...but did.
Break seal on floor pan and remove. Now all you have are blank walls and a plywood floor. Cleaned everything up and put new pan in place making sure I had support around drain area. Hook up drain. Glue plastic walls in place making sure they overlap pan. Reinstall glass doors.
I’m very handy and have done mucho remodeling work. Total time..a day!

Bathroom vent

What I am interested in, is that I think the auto function of the vent/fan may be a source for leaks. I noticed that when closed, pulling down on the vent control knob disengages the electric motor that powers the auto fan/vent control. Then rotating the knob further manually pulls the vent down tighter and snugs it in the closed position. I am thinking that leaving the control switch in the auto position may be the problem I am having. Perhaps high winds in a rainstorm will creep under the vent lid if not tightened down in this manner. Anyone have a similar experience (with an automatic vent/fan).

We never leave ours on auto for fear of the exact thing you're talking about.
