MH Covers

Does anyone have any advice on which covers are best. We are considering buying a cover for our Holiday Rambler Vacationer SBT36 to protect it during the winter. Seems a good idea but does anyone know otherwise from experience??

No first hand experience with the soft covers here but if you do a search you will find previous posts about them. Most of them finally determine that the covers are too hard to put on and remove and that if not tied down right they will rub the paint off the coach.

I agree. Had one and used it 1 year. What a pain on and off.

We looked at one Monaco this summer that had a pervasive musty smell. It was a consignment coach at Camping World. When we asked the salesman about it, he swore that the rig had always been kept under cover.

As we worked our way around the coach, I opened one bay and there was a soft cover, obviously moldy, and smelling just like the inside of the coach.

Sounds like someone put a wet cover in the MH which is dumb. I had a 36 pct and used a soft cover which was good except it only lasted 3 years and started to tear. In the long run invest in a carport metal or stick built which I did for my rev. what a difference park it and forget it.

Trust Me The ONLY thing they are good for is a dust cover in a inclosed building.It is a high grade of paper.Mine did not last no time.Wind keep tearing it,Hard to put on,hard to get it up there.I got one with my MH when I bought it would love to sale it.Don't wast yo money.

New coaches with full body paint are just like a car. I had our first coach 7 years and it looked like new when I traded. I would save your money and get it detailed once a year.
