Mid Century Modern Motorhome

Allen and I had been talking a bit about what kind of interior design style we'd like to do in our motorhome. We think Mid Century Modern (Atomic Age, Retro Futuristic, think the Jetson's) would work beautifully. So things like this welcome sign will be perfect:

I suggest a quick trip to either Walt Disney World's Magic Kingdom or Disneyland and spend quality time in Tomorrowland! Heck, even if you're not in search of period decorating ideas I'd recommend a visit to either place. I wish I was there now....with our MH tucked neatly into a site at Fort Wilderness......

haha, had to laugh at "George"... its funny for two reasons: once as a young man, an acquaintance of my husband somehow got the idea that his name was George. Rather than correct him, my husband was amused, and just ran with it. The other guy never knew his mistake, but people who knew my husband gave him odd looks when this guy called him George. He'd just shrug and say, inside joke.

The other funny part is that my husband and I play a lot of disc golf. If he's been hitting a lot of trees with his discs, I'll teasingly call him George - as in, George of the jungle cartoon theme song:
George, George, George of the jungle, watch out for that tree!

Yes, that welcome sign is indeed old Vegas type, think Stardust Motel sign and you've got it.

OMG. THAT'S AWESOME.

My son and daughter went to Harry Potter World last month and stayed at Cabana Bay. They said I'd have loved it. They're right! I'm gonna have to pin these images for the motorhome remodel! Thank you very much.
