Mirror

Wondering if anybody added a 4" riser on a velvac 2030 passenger side mirror to raise the mirror head up so to better see over the dash. I Receive the riser today from velvac their instructions are saying cut all the plugs off the mirror head connections cause from what I see the hole through the riser is too small in diameter to feed connections through. Kinda poor design anybody drill larger acess through the riser? Or am I the only one to add a riser on their mirror.

Thanks

I would get a crimper, new pins, and new connector housings.

Cut the wires close to the connectors to retain the length.

I can find the part numbers if you decide to go this way.

E-mailing Velvac is a waste of electrons, still waiting for a reply from several months ago. Once you make phone contact with them and they get your e-mail address they are prompt.
