mirror relocation

It seems that Fleetwood wants to mount the mirrors on two different locations. Passenger mirror is attached to the front of the coach, while the drivers mirror is mounted on the side of the coach.

Problem is the glare is terrible on the drivers mirror. Has anyone removed the mirror and installed another mirror on the front of the coach? Most of the other manufacturers mount the mirrors out front. I know the mirror will have to be changed to another type.

Interesting problem. I would think that you might be able to see how the passenger side mirror is mounted by looking up underneath on the outside. If it's attached to a mount of some kind that's attached to the frame, it might be fairly difficult to find one for the drivers side. But it could be symmetrical (if the mirror isn't attached directly to the frame through the end cap), which could possibly fit on the drivers side after rotation.

In all the years I've been perusing the RV forums I don't think I've heard of anyone doing this. You are a trailblazer, Poppy.

I'll keep my fingers crossed for you.

I guess that I have way too much time on my hands, battling Melanoma Cancer and can't do very much at one time. Hoping to get my strength back and I have good days and very bad days. Keeps my mind occupied.
