Missing Strut 2014 Via p

Hi all, my strut that holds up the mattress is missing. I got it that way and want to order one. I'd like to upgrade it to around 100lb capacity but have no clue how long it was and/or should be. Could someone let me know the measurement?

Thanks for your help.

A 100 lb strut is not that strong. If no one gets back to you. Raise bed to about how high you imagine it should be raised and measure the ball links. If the closed is less than compressed length it will work. My bed struts are engine hatch and pretty heavy. Has two at 250lb x 28" with steel 13 mm steel links. If your links are 13mm the strut was probably 200 lb or higher. I wish I had went 300 as home mattress is very heavy. I don't think old struts were tired at all. My struts remain approx 1/4 to 1/3 shaft uncompressed while closed, judging by dirt on shafts.
