They change mechanisms from coach to coach, year to year and hydraulic versus electric.
With that said, on some you can first check any stripes on the exterior for alignment. On many, you extend the slide about a foot and under the outer edge are often some adjusters. They're vertical bolts with a locking nut. Loosen several adjacent bolts and then adjust the vertical bolt to correct height.
On many Monacos, you could lay on the floor, with the slide in, and look under the slide, from the inside with a flashlight. They had rollers at both ends. Make sure those look correct. If they do, you can take a phillips screwdriver and adjust them up or down (screw head facing you).
Keep in mind, my explanations are from a 2005 Monaco and like I said, things change. Typically though, if you're handy, just take a few minutes, study the mechanism and they're pretty easy to figure out how they work.
