im have trouble chasing a problem and looking for some help..PLEASE
the 2 main slides work great.. when they work.. i think its a safety switch im missing some where. The bedroom slide never is affected.
this only happens once in a while,i check all doors,chairs,brake,jacks,battery,even stared gen to see if it needed more power ...just seems both switch are dead till i get a magic combination then they work perfect..

Only 2 requirements I could find in the manual is engine off, key off, and park brake set. It does say to retract the jacks prior to retracting the slide, but I don't think that is a switch that keeps it from retracting.

Hi Mark1965; Try checking the bay door safety switches located at the top of the bay doors. It is the switch with the silver round plunger at the top of the door attached to the inside of the cargo bay. This switch interrupts the signal from the slide control if you happen to leave a bay door open as that would catch the open door while retracting the slide. Bedroom slide do not have these switches because there are no bay doors below the bedroom slide. Happens more than you think. Sometimes the switch just needs to adjusted to push the plunger in more to allow slide operation. Hope this info helps!

BR slide out is a different system than the others...it will not work if it’s a bay door problem. Corrosion of connections on the power pack is a common intermittent problem.

Here is a copy of the parts page showing the Inhibitor switch. There is one on each door under the slide. If the slide doesn't work the first thing I do is go out an slam each door shut and that usually fixes it.

thank you for telling me that i only had this unit for 2 months and and fixing all the problems i found i fixed a few push switches...generator, sewer bay But did not know it had a metal barrel plunger switch.
i will ck it and see if it needs to be replaced

I agree that this is probably your problem. You can use a piece of wire with alligator clips to jump out each switch, testing the slideouts each time.
