Monroe shocks

Finished installing shocks, not sure if I will be satisfied. Monroe shocks have less resistance while pushing down than the bilsteins . Looked into others like koni but got what was available . Could be a softer ride ,we will see. Also , front shocks I removed had 1/2 upper bolts , monroe had 3/4 . Part # was correct , but this is a class a , revolution xc chassis and parts
are sometimes a bit of a mystery. So here is my solution. I removed the 1/2 sleeve from the old and with some shimstock it fit right into the new 3/4 sleeve. It is snug , with no movement.

My Motorhome came with Monroe shocks. It had bad porpoising so at 12,000 miles I replace them with Koni FSD units and no more porpoising. I hope those Monroe's provide enough control for you.

Got a fairly good test today but nothing to brag about, no porpoising but didn't evwn get up to 60 on short run down interstate. Might be a bit softer though. Will see tomorrow as I head out I-20 on route to New Mexico.
