Motorhome company pays up

I have a 2007 motorhome. I'm the second owner and I bought it 1 year old with 11,000 miles.

I just recently had a check sent to me to fix deficiencies in my motorhome. I sent them evidence.

I'm not under warranty and they have no legal obligation to even listen to me about something they made a mistake in the design of my motorhome.

The check came from customer relations.

I did not present bills to get the check. I did not send estimates for the fixes.

I don't see anyone fighting with the manufacturer and having a check sent to them.

I posted my problem on this site. Got no good replies.

I think MH owners are being hosed. Paying to fix crap which shouldn't be broken.

Yes, I'm bragging.

I think people sort of brag about what they paid to fix things where I would rather brag about not paying one red cent.

My question is has anyone ever gotten a check without going to court, without paying for repairs and just proving a mistake was made. Remember this, out of warranty and second owner

Which rv do you own? what was the problem they sent you the check for? Did you get it fixed? how much was the repair? Is the amount of the check large enough to share just in case someone needed some help with their rv? I am second owner of one but don't think I will be getting any money sent to me from the Mfg'r,
Cheers!

The Brake recall for Workhorse is on them and they don't care how many owners the coach has had.

Hundreds, thousands of you didn't get squat for a long time.

I'm talking one man (me) against a very big company where everyone else gives up.

Only took me 7 weeks.

No recall.

Just common sense and presentation of the facts.

A check given to me WITHOUT BILLS and by all rights a nobody since I'm only the second owner. No LEGAL obligation to even acknowledge my existence.

That type scenario.

I don't own a Workhorse.

Stick it to da Man.

I'd rather be the Man.

I'm sure I was paid to make this problem go away.

It was a good will jesture and much appreciated by me.

Neither side stonewalled the other.

No "or else" threat ever made.

The company has over the years always been helpful. I even have full shop drawings of my coach supplied by them a couple years ago.

My "repairs" have been done and I'm satisfied. I made all the arrangements and decisions.

No aftermarket "JUNK" was used. The aftermarket companies were actually the most aggravating part of this. When I say JUNK I mean it. An almost complete lack of innovation. What a bunch of copycats. However, that's not on topic.

Sounds like really good customer care. Why don't you share the company? Prospective buyers would like to know.

I read the entire post, but I failed to see the point. Humans like to "TOOT" their horn from time to time, so share the pudding with all. In answer to your question, I have never been hosed, but feel like I could have had better service with a local C/World, but in general, they all have problems, and I guess it was my turn. Lesson learned, I don't go there anymore. I knew their time would come sooner or later, and it was only a short time until they shut their doors, so derserving, treating joe public like that will get you no where.

There are at least three that do this.

Fantastic Fan
RVInnovations

Your the greatest, we bow to your power, your the Fonz. (is that what you want?)

Now will you tell who it is?
