Arizona is based on value, reduced every year. My 2008 22ft Safari was $760 in 09, $630 in 2010.

Send a message via ICQ to Fred and Bonnie
Plates are only part of the story, how many states place additional taxes on RV's?

Does anyone in Texas own less than 25 acres. LOL We just spent 3 months in Alvarado TX, about 23 miles south of Fort Worth. Alot of nice farms in that area.

$71.50 in NJ. Cheap registrations, cheap gas and the highest property taxes in this hemisphere.

taxes

Michigan...... $ Value based. Lisence plate cost decreases for the first 4 years to a % value then stays at that $ value. $340 for plates on birthday. However Retirees pay no state income tax on pensions (Social Security, Company pensions, 401 K payments) . 6% state sales tax.

We use Good Sam mail forwarding which provides us an address in Pensacola, $10 per month plus postage whenever we call for mail (usually just once a month, so its under $15 for us). They give us both a street address for legal purposes and a PO Box for general stuff.

Voting is a problem with these types of addresses though. But no property tax or income tax.

California varies by value but it is just under $1,000 per $100,000 value each year.

In Florida I paid $99.34 in 09 for 2 years. I did that 1 week before the rates increased.
Oct. 11 2011 it will be more .
I always order on line. It is cheaper then going and waiting in a long line at the license branch.

We have a UPS U.S. Postal Address for RV vehicle registration. We do physically live in the same state as the UPS address. The state police or any cop will see a physical address and a legal mailing address that is not a P.O. Box. The UPS U.S. Postal address is a real mailing address and is not a P.O. Box address. P.O. box addresses are no good for vehicle and driver's license registration.

UPS Postal service is a legit offical mailing address that you must sign an affidavit for and declare it as your official legal mailing address.

My driver's license and RV registration both have the UPS mailing address on it (Not a P.O.). BUT... State records would show a physical and mailing if they call it up.
