Motorhome will not start

Motorhome will not start.
I have a 2008 Ambassador 360 diesel Cummins. I was starting the engine and as it was cranking the dash lights and gauges went dark and the engine would not start. I turned the key off and back on and there is no power or lights to the gauges. Turning the key back on there is an inter-mediate flash on the dash lights with a clicking noise coming from the front fuse box and the rear solenoid valve.

Sorry you're here with problems .

Start out by checking the chassis batteries and connections; because from your description you've lost power from the batteries., to the starter and dash.

From your discription it is the batteries or loose cables.

Dead chassis batteries the question is why. Old? Something drawing power? Been sitting?

Do you have a boost button? If so did you try that? If not hold that for 30 seconds then try it.
