Moving fuel filter

I am moving my secondary FF to a more accessible location.
I need to loosen one line at the filter housing to change the angle from a 9 o’clock position to a 6 o’clock position. Will it reseal or does the o ring (if any) need to be replaced?

Rule is if you take it apart or disturb the fitting in any way, you replace the o ring. However I would try it. Worse case it leaks and you have replace it.

Every time I've tried to locate the correct o ring it turns out to be the wrong one and I wind up matching one out of my supply box.

Good luck. Looks like moving it is a very good plan.

I have to move it. Over the years I have done a few roadside filter changes and this one will be very difficult in its current location.
Not to mention it’s usually dark or rainy when they quit you

Got O ring part # from Cummins QuickServeMobile app.
Will order soon.

If you have Cummins power check out the app, lot of good info.
