MP-8 programmer on a Cat 3126E

I'm interested in increasing the horsepower and torque on my coach. I have a 2002 Itasca Horizon 34HD with the Cat 3126E motor. I tow a 24ft enclosed trailer that weighs about 7600 lbs loaded and just need more power. I've done a search on this site and have read most of the threads on the MP-8. Reviews seem to be good. I live in Tucson and was wondering if there is anyone local that can install one for me?

Do they even make one for the 3126? I thought they were for Cummins only.

You only need help installing if you want the control switch up front. I installed one in our RV last year and really noticed Hill pulling power, I added and recommend having a Egt gauge.

Had this installed on my 2000 3126. And if memory serve on the dyno go 394 HP and 1000# plus torque. Install is ano brained. Disconnect two wires and set NP8 in be tween. Order 40' control dial or mount it near motor,I mounted it under bed. If you get an error message after install back of on how much power and it will go away, some got the error some did not. Gave me a bunch more power and one mile to the gallon.

Thanks for all of the replies. I have read where others say it is easy to install also. I'm a pretty good do it yourself kind of guy, but when it comes to diesel motors...... I don't want to screw anything up. Are the instructions very detailed?

Here is a link for your engine. There is very little difference in the
3126b/e/ C7 engines.
