After a second thought....I agree. I was referencing to another ceramic coated product.

Thanks for the heads up....

Just got back from a short trip this weekend (about 200 miles) with the AeroTurbine. Maybe I'm dreaming or the stars are lining up perfectly, but I averaged 9.6 mpg on this trip which is about a mile more than what I've averaged for the previous 5000 miles. Driving speed was 65 mph and I was towing a Jeep Commander. The ISB seems more responsive but again, maybe I'm expecting that.

I've noticed no difference in sound, even when passing under overpasses, etc. It wasn't loud before and isn't loud now. But, I've never been standing on the side of the road when someone else drove my rig by either.

From a cost standpoint, the muffler cost me around $100, the pipes and associated bits $140, the new clamp was $30 and fabricating the new flare was $60. Then I replaced the chrome tip which was $50. So, I guess I'm in this for $380. Oh, and a few more gray hairs

Top, thank you for your feedback. My stock muffler is fine at this time but it is showing quite a bot of rust at the inlet...so spring of 13 it will be due. Nice to explore options for the future
