My memory failed me!

There was a recent discussion on IRV2 about Speedco service, general maintenance, etc. I don't remember which forum area it was in.

The discussion was about proper chassis lubrication and I remember someone, I'm thinking it was Richard, mentioning some lube points, maybe having to do with the exhaust brakes, that are easily missed. I think someone posted pics of these points.

Can anyone point me back to that thread? Thanks!

The exhaust brake is not a lube point that Speedco does. You might be able to reach the brake from the underside and lube it when the coach is over the pit if they let you down under it. I have been going in the pit with the guys but I heard recently that customers can't go below

It wasn't the exhaust brake itself. I am probably wrong on that.

I seem to remember that it was something near each wheel.

I've read posts stating Speedco wasn't hitting the grease zerks on the driveshaft/ U-joints.

Joe, I have the chassis lube chart for a Scepter I found on this forum at one time. It looks like it's out of the owner's manual, but if you want it, PM me and I'll send it to you. It's in my 'books' section of my iPad and I don't know how to attach it here. I also looked and couldn't find the post where I got it.

Just looked, it's the chart from your owner's manual, page 10-301

http://www.monacocoach.com/resources...02_Windsor.pdf

Arrows point to the spots by the rear wheels. Good luck!

Oops, meant Windsor, not Scepter.

Joe......Send me an email address in a PM. There is a shaft on the brakes that needs to be lubed. I have a pdf file (photo) of the brake shafts that need lubing.
