Just returned from trip to Phoenix and while traveling I would often hear a mysterious series of beeps, six-seven short beeps in a row. Two or three series every few minutes then they would cease for a while then return. I could never figure where they were coming from nor could my wife when moving around in motorhome. This was only when traveling, never heard when stopped. The beeps were of the watch/digital alarm kind, not a buzzer type. I will change out battery in the smoke/CO2 alarm, but do not think it would be this type of sound. I even considered the data center device (date, time, engine, trip, etc) on left of instrument/gauge panel, but book does not suggest it to have an audible alarm. Sound at times even suggested to be coming from outside coach, perhaps from generator compartment up front. At first I thought it was my Galaxy tablet needing charged or one of the cell phones, but it was not. Any suggestions? b,b,b,b,b,b, bill

Have you ruled out cell phone, i-pad, lap top and GPS beeping when searching/roaming for Sat signal?.

My MH has a chime that sounds whenever the turn signal is on for more than a short time ......... it is annoying ........ maybe that is what you hear ...... I will be the first to admit old age and locating sounds do not go well together.

I do not have TPMS so that is out.

A real mystery as the "beep" sound, rather than buzz, categorizes the sound so different from dash and leveling alarms. And, it seemed so muffled, but as George suggests age is factor in locating noise also.

The noise is that I would think Galaxy tablet or cell phone but they were beside me. GPS right in front of me and I believe I have alarms off on it.

What would be the sound of the CO2 and why would it only alarm in travel?

Anything that would have alarm in firewall?

The previous owner towed a 8k lb trailer which has a brake unit under dash in usual mounting area. This unit is not in use with my tow vehicle but is still wired in and has power.
Could this have some sort of alarm over a period of miles when not in actual use?

Do you have a Workhorse underframe? If so it is more then likely your dash doing it. On mine it will do it sometimes. Sounds like a seat belt alarm to me..... I had it looked at and they said it was a design flaw and not to worry to much about it.... I do know that my darn dash read out is almost impossable to read.........Hope this helps. KJD

We had a mystery beep that would occur when the MH was going over bumps or porpoising; DW tracked it down to the bedroom.

We had two CO detectors in there and one was failing in some way that made it beep when jarred.

I had the same thing happen to me , and found out is was my inverter sounding off. I had left my 12 volt switch on for several days and my battery's were going down. After one trip I had to replace the inverter. Hope this helps

X2 on signal light alarm. Catches me off guard all the time. Faint beeping sound that is had to identify where it's coming from. Easy to test, turn on signal and wait about a minute, you will hear it if that's it.
