National Sea Breeze LX 8360

I'm in the process of buying a 2007 36ft National Sea Breeze LX8360. Anyone own or had any experience with this model or one similar. Its pretty much loaded, more than I'll need. It only has 26758 miles, with the 8.1 vortec workhorse chassis. Not sure what chassis P30 32 etc:. Thanks for any replies.

I'm not positive , but , I think that by 07 Workhorse had switched to the W-22 or W-24 designation . Either 22,000 lbs . GVWR or 24,000 lbs.
Before I bought my current coach I looked at a 05, 37' Tiffin , on the W-22 chassis , and didn't purchase it due to it's low CCC. ( Cargo Carrying Capacity )
CCC on that coach was under 1,000 lbs.
B-in-L, had an 05 , 35' Tiffin on a W-22 with a 1,300 lb. CCC and was always having trouble keeping the unit from being overloaded . The front axle in particular , when he got to close to the front axle weight rating , the coach handled poorly.
JMHO: Look for the RV's weight sticker ; where the CCC will be listed , and if the CCC is under 2,000 lbs . Personally I wouldn't buy it.
Sticker will look like the picture below , but there is no standard location , so you have to search for it.

Rick, there is one for sale in Shreveport with 19k miles. Brand new Michelin's and decals. Seller bought it in AZ this past summer, put 3k miles on a long vacation, brought it home, then put on the new tires. It is an LX on a Ford V-10 chassis with 22.5 aluminum wheels. Rare for a Sea Breeze. Asking $47k. He has it on Craigslist and RV Trader. I have no affiliation with this seller, but might be worth a call. Good luck with the search.

Rick, check out the National RV area in the owners section.

The chassis/weight info is located in the overhead cabinet above the drivers area.

Enjoy the ride.

I was so impressed with the National RV units that turned up in our search. They seemed so much further ahead than other coaches of that vintage--even Newmar. Really solid well-put-together units. Had we gone used, it would have been National for sure. The unit @StephenW mentions looks super clean.
