I haven't heard of any issues with the Full wall slide FST. I purchased a 2007 40 foot PBQ last year and am impressed with it so far. Previously, I owned a 2002 HR Imperial
Here is a link to the HR site for a manual

You can also download old brochures for it.

I have a full wall slide on my Fleetwood. It's great for the room; the only real issue I have is that in higher winds (20mph or so) the topper really billows and snaps around. I bring that slide in when there's a strong wind blowing on that side of the rig.

We owned a 2007 Monaco Executive with a full wall slide. It is called PanaSuite.
The Executive is almost identical to the Navigator. Monaco owned Holiday Rambler and they were built on the same assembly line.
It was a great coach! We never had a single issue with the full wall slide. When you first walk in and look at the interior with the slides out, the space is awesome!
The 43FST Navigator has the largest RV bedroom in the business.
If you look at 2018 Newmar and Entegra high end coaches, most are full wall slides.
The only negative is it will be a very heavy coach.
Make sure you have a full inspection done and watch out for pricing as they are all over the place.

From memory when we were shopping for a coach, I believe the ISM was standard, but the Detroit or ISX were options?
If this has the ISX, get the specifics on HP output and confirm it's not one of the ISX's with the double cams that are known to have problem on #6 resulting in rather expensive repairs. (Check the Cummins Power Train looking for Mr D's thread on his Country Coach with ISX. I believe in that thread the suspect HP and years of engines are identified(?).).
Concur the Navigator is and Roadmaster, believe the S chassis(?), are a fine coach. As I recall, another option that we felt was worth having, was the dual leveling (Air and Hydraulic).
Best of luck to you,
Smitty

A neighbor in our snowbird park has a 07 FST that helped me decide to buy a 08 Navigator Caspian 45. I looked at the hydraulic slide system for the full/Pana slide. I was surprised it did not have a third rail/hydraulic cylinder for the back portion of the full slide...just the two for the standard LR slide. Not sure what support the back portion of the slide. He has not had any problems in the three years he's owned it.
While I liked the 43' length (fits better in my MH bay) of the FST, I did not like the floor plan when the full wall slide is in...poor access to the rear. The overall quality was good enough that I flew to AZ based on pictures of the 08 I ended up buying.

Not sure, but back in 07 the Navigator was top of the HR line. The problem ISXs are the ones with 650 HP, since then they've lowered them to 600.

A 2007 coach comes with a 2006 engine, so the 650hp ISX was not yet available. Any of the 3 available engines would be great.
From the 2007 Navigator brochure:
CHASSIS / ENGINE / SUSPENSION:
Roadmaster S-Series Semi-Monocoque Chassis
Standard Engine:
Cummins® ISM-II 500 HP Electronic
Engine with Allison® 4000 MH 6-Speed
World Transmission and Electronic Shifter
Torque: 1,550 lbs./ft. Max
Engine Displacement 661˝/10.8L
Optional Engines:
Series 60 Detroit Diesel 515 HP Engine
with Allison® 4000 MH 6-Speed World
Transmission and Electronic Shifter;
Torque:1,650 ft./lbs.; 858 Cu. In. Engine
Displacement
Cummins® ISX-525HP Engine with
Allison® 4000 MH 6-Speed World
Transmission and Electronic Shifter;
Torque: 1650 ft./lbs.; 912 Cu. In. Engine

One of the reasons I bought a 08 Navigator was because it had a 06 engine with only EGR...less pollution BS than 07 engines. In 08 the ISX 525 was the standard engine or an option of the 600 HP. Monaco bought up a bunch of extra 06 engines (probably for the price savings) and I have seen a 09 coach with a 06 engine.
