This is what I have used for years - only 6' but fits and is light - when I need to work near the roof I roll out the scafell, really hard to fit an 8'+ ladder in the Coach.

Good for cleaning, general Maintenance, windshields/windows - then fits between the two roll out right in the middle of the Coach.

This and a good sturdy entenda pole will take care of almost everything.

JMHO,

Edit - Sears.com

I exceed the weight limit of the ladder but it does a good job when im washing and waxing the rig. It folds flat into a nice tight 3x3 or 4x4 square that slides perfectly into a pass thru basement storage.

for getting onto the roof I try and stay off of there but I have an attached ladder on the back that ppl have climbed up there to look around.
I also have this ladder and it works OK for a compact ladder.

Another thread suggested storing it in a 6" PVC pipe as this will facilitate getting it in and out of the basement without it getting hung on things.

I actually have the next size up. 15 ft. I like the ladder to extend over the top of where I am going. It's an old firefighting thing! Fits in the bay nicely. It is a bit heavy and sure cost a lot more than the one shown. But has been very useful.
