need a place to park/store a bad-looking older rv in culpeper, va

Need a place to park for at least a week, while we get things together. RV looks terrible, though. windshield is out and it looks like it's spent time under water (though it has not).

I went through that in Las Vegas...
Best luck was found at storage yards. But, they required the unit to be driven in. No tow ins. A small few even would let me work on them there, with the exception of "major" repairs (engine replacement et al).

Campgrounds - no interest.

Vacant parcels - couldn't find one without being local. I was trying to do all this arranging over the phone.

One nice forum user in the southwest forum tried to help as he was local to Vegas. So, you might try posting in the appropriate geographic forum on iRV2.

I ended up finding by complete luck a really nice guy that owned a truck wharehouse / distribution center and he let me park and work on mine there for a month. But that was a complete stroke of luck. Super nice guy.

If it's the blue and white one I've seen pics of, good luck. I'd bet you can't even find a storage yard willing to let you park it there. When I seen the pics of that coach, that song WHAT WAS YA THINKING came flowing in my brain.

yes: having a guy let you use his warehouse was a complete boon for you. I'm glad it worked out.

If you lived in Seattle you can just park on any street no issues. Sad
