Can anyone recommend a shop that can replace the roof, decking and headliner within 100 to 150 miles of Nashville?

I also have some fire wood for sale. [emoji24]

Is that from the storm that just rolled through today.

We live in E TN and had severe thunderstorm threats but it misses us.

Will this be an insurance claim, it may total your rig!

Yes to both. We live near Dickson. Power is still out here 5 hours and counting. Using the RV generator to keep our reefers cold.

Any shop out your way you can recommend?

OUCH! sorry to see this. Your best bet for "Firewood Removal" might be one of the many facilities in the Elkhart Indiana area who are experienced with RV repair. Of course, this would require fabricating some sort of travel-worth temporary patch or a mad dash between spring rainstorms.

Good luck...

Wow! Sorry to see that. Lucky no one was standing there.

Would the firewood be cut, split and delivered?

Check with your insurance company when you file your claim. They might be able to find someone closer.

Need a RV repair shop in Middle Tennessee

I pulled the spear out in two pieces. 16’ overall and 60 lbs. created a patch using the flexible plastic bottoms of reusable grocery bags and lots of silicon. Once that cured I went around the edges of the plastic with duct tape.

I think I’ve decided to take it to Bankston’s location in Ardmore TN. Evidently they do a lot of repairs for insurance claims. And are large enough and been around a while.

I’ll keep you posted on how it goes.

As a tip the manager there I spoke with said a quick way to seal the hole until repair is to set a plastic bowl upside down over the hole and caulk the edge. My roof ended up being so distorted from flat I needed a more flexible solution but thought his was a good tip to pass along.Click image for larger version

If I was you, I would take it down to these guys. Not too far away and they look like they know what they are doing.

Forgot to add, they have a ton of videos on U tube documenting their work. Kind of impressive to be honest

Thanks again. Very Interesting videos. I'll keep them in mind.

BTW, I like the photo of the P3-C Orion. I got my first aircrew wings on P3's while serving at a TSC in Lajes, Azores in 76'. Got my second set in SH2F Seasprites. I was an AW2.

Nova Scotia is a bit far to go to deliver. Although it is such a beautiful place it would be worth the trip.

Love your sense of humor. At this point, what else can you do, right?

Good luck.

Well, thanks anyway.
It was just a thought.
All the best on the repair.

Really happy no one was hurt. Scary
