Hello irv2! Again thank you for all the amazing support everyone has offered and I just want to say that we truly appreciate y'all.

Now we think we may have found our Class A Gas RV, but I need an independent inspector / mechanic in the HOUSTON, TX AREA to take a look.

We're a little nervous because it's our first foray into the lifestyle, but we're moving forward.

So if anyone here knows of a mechanic they trust and highly recommend in the Houston area we'd really appreciate the contact info or website link.

Need him/her to look over the entire rig, not just the engine and generator. Any tips would be appreciated.

Looking for booking the mechanic for early next week to go and look at a unit I'm considering buying.

"if you would like to have this inspected you can go to RVSurvey (just click on) or call @ 281-773-9726. Let them be your eyes. There fee for this inspection is $400.00. Plus $40.00 trip charge. We have no affiliation with RV survey."

never used them, but I know the folks that recommend them, and I trust them. Worth a phone call.
