Cash or finance? Dealer finance may provide a lower payment, with a longer term

This one I looked at today looks like it may be the one!
It's from a private party, in great shape, low miles, everything works. The price is reasonable too $14,000 less than the dealer wanted for the same one. I think I will be able to get it for $75,000 and I will be financing it so after 10% down and financing for 20 years my payment would be about $442/mo not bad.
Average retail is $89,840
Already approved loan wise. I'm starting to get excited!

Looks like you are getting close, Joe.
Yes, it is exciting, but . . .
I did a quick search on RV Trader and RVT and seems like $75k would be in the ballpark. I saw several 2014 33c's listed in the mid '80's and one at $90k.
Are you keeping a few $thousand back for surprises and accessories?
If you do decide to purchase the MH, do not assume that just because it is relatively new, that you do not have to have an independent inspection. Even many new units leave the factory with defects that would shock you. Do not write the check or sign the contract unless and until you are satisfied that everything on your checklist works. Many on this forum will tell you from sad experience that you should not take the seller's word that everything works. Not that he would necessarily lie, but as an example, "How would you define 'everything'?"
Factored in cost of insurance and registration/tax? Will you be purchasing a service contract (extended warranty)?
Although the owner will want to drive it first, do drive the MH for at least 1/2 hour at highway speeds, hopefully on a freeway. Here is where you are most psychologically vulnerable. After you drive it, you will be be a bit stressed & pumped up and will want to move quickly to the transfer phase. Take a break and review your drive experience. If there is anything you were concerned about, don't push it to the back of your mind. Once you fork over the money and sign the papers, it is too late for second thoughts. We all know this intellectually, but that is usually not how the decision process really works. Very hard to put emotion to the side. Can you take a friend with you with whom you can compare notes?
Best of luck and let us know how it all works out.

Wonderful that you found one you like. I cannot tell you anything about Bounders or their prices; I suspect if you head over to the Fleetwood section of these forums, there will be knowledgable folks. I think there is even a subforum just for Bounders.

Hey Sunny1 thanks for asking. I am in the middle of the finance process but expect to have it maybe early next week.
I'm getting a great deal on it and I'm really looking forward to getting it, I have a spot in a very nice RV park reserved already for it.
Here's a link to the rig
