Need help...2001 workhorse w22 slides!

Hello All,

I was wondering if anyone has experienced SLOW-moving slides.

My 2001 will hardly retract if slides have been out for a while.

Can someone help me speed them up, or what to look for to possibly HELP with this issue?

MANY THANKS FOR CONSIDERING MY REQUEST.

The slides aren't part oif the chassis, so Workhorse W22 isn't relevant to your slide problem. What make/model of motorhome is it? And what brand of slide mechanism, e.g. Power Gear?

Might be your batteries are low. Are you running the engine or plugged into shore power, or running generator when operating the slide.

ok, i dont think the monaco has a w22 chassis, but that may be the slide model. anyway,
is it a diesel pusher?. does it have jacks? or air leveling?
i can provide a service manual if needed.
send my your make and model of your coach, and maybe a photo of the touch pad by the drivers seat.
pfmaddox@att.net, or text to 602 549 3638. i may be able to help.

On mine, we greased everything that turns or slides and the rack and pinion during our first day of ownership, with white grease or bearing grease.
Ours needs to have the emergency brake on, be in park, and the engine running to extend or retract the slides. We lube everything every spring when we wake the old girl up from her winter sleep.

They do if it's a gas rig on a Workhorse chassis.
