Chassis 12vdc, coach 12vdc, or coach 120vac? What (or not) is happening?

Started having problems driving today. Wipers and front fans at top of windshield wouldn’t work. Got to CG and leveling system won’t work and slides won’t go out. My thoughts are that the generator isn’t putting out enough amps and the battery light is on now. When we plugged in the batteries were taking a higher charge than I have ever seen.

Some locals directed me to Ednundsens about a half hour below Indy. Took me in right away and had it fixed in less than an hour. Turns out it was a blown 40 amp fuse that was in the engine compartment that I had no idea it was even there. Now WHY it blew is the question, but it has been a week now and every thing is fine,,, knock on wood. Couldn’t thank the shop enough as they said they had a 2 to 3 week backlog but they felt sorry for me I guess.

Any more specifics about your rig. Year, etc. That could help folks that have similar experience with your year.

You may want to include details - MH, toad, etc. in your signature so folks can respond best...

Could be as simple as the primary fuse to the batteries... but I don't have a gasser Itasca.

Did you get a few spare fuses? And have them show you where it's located just in case it fails before you get home?
