We have a 2005 Sea breeze, recently purchased. We have no information on the coach. Have searched internet without success.

Question #1 On the left hand side of the dash, there is a switch labeled "Auxilliary." When switch is activated the light comes on, but cannot determine what it activated.

Question #2 We have found mfgr's specifications that says it comes with a 75 gal fuel tank, but when the fuel gauge reads 1/4 full, I can add 32 gal of fuel and the gauge will read as if it has a full tank.

We have tried the AUX switch to see if it has any effect on the fuel gauge, but it does not.

Any help any one can give would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Does this switch turn on and off or just push on and release back to off.? If so it may be your auxillary battery switch for starting the coach if your starting batteries go dead. You can push this button on and use the chassis batteries to start the coach.

Thank you very much. I will check the switch tomorrow. I can't remember if it's switches on & off, or is push & hold. Thank you for your reply.

The "AUX" switch does nothing and it is an on & off type. It's for an add-on accessory. I used mine to power my TST TPMS. The one labeled "Emergency Boost" is to tie the house and chassis batteries together.

I never had to use mine but a Friend of mine use his once when we were in his M.H. playing cards when slowly over time (we were dry camping at the time) the lights started to get dimmer and dimmer, finely his wife asked him I think you need to start the Gen. Set. When he tried to start it, it would only click. Now what, he said, and I said your house batterys are too low to start the Gen. Set. You will half to use the engine batters so push the rocker switch (battery assist) and hold it then at the same time push the Gen.Set switch,
The Gen. Set started up and (low and behold their was light).

Just a thought.

biker1800, the manual that came with mine is pretty much generic. Search for the individual appliances you have; WH, Microwave, Furnace, AC, etc.

I think question 1 has been answered for you.
About your gas gauge, It sounds bad to me. Probably have to drop the tank to replace it.

Our Dolphin has the same dash. The AUX switch was not connected to any devices
from the factory but does have 12v. power running to it. I connected my GPS and
Sirius sat. radio to it.
I found, from the factory, it was hard to fill the fuel tank as the fuel nozzle kept stopping. I visually looked at the RV's fuel filler pipe and it was at a poor angle for
mounting the full nozzle and the small return air hose dipped down. It seemed both hoses that connected the fuel filler assembly to the pipes that run to the fuel tank
where too long from the factory. I disconnected and cut out a section of each hose.
This allowed me to re-mount the fuel filler assembly to the rear of the RV body so
it was at the correct angle for the fuel nozzle to be inserted. |Also the smaller air return hose was now re-positioned to be straight and above the main fuel pipe. Now the tank fills
without a problem.

Greg, are you talking about these dips? There is no way to change them on my Sea Breeze. The tubes at the top are hard attached at the top of the fill/vent connectors. You can't see it, but mine dip down at the tank end. Pardon the dirt, but my fill hole is at quite a steep angle and mine fills just fine. I can lock the pump full-on when filling.

The trailer ball is painted white so I can see it better in my rear view camera for easier hook-up.

If your rig came with a factory inverter, that AUX switch may turn it on.

96 Wideglide is correct, AUX switch is for the inverter if you have one. It's a real pain to drop the fuel tank to replace the sending unit. You may have buy it with the fuel pump as it is one unit. I would learn to live with until the fuel pump needs to be replaced.

not to stir up a pot here, but every "AUX" switch I've ever seen in a motorhome is as Gregory and Dunner noted, just an extra switch for the owner to connect something to.

--and every switch I've seen that turns on an inverter says "inverter".

(of course, an exception to that would be an owner-installed inverter connected to the AUX switch)

Perhaps it is a National thing because if the fuel nozzel isn't in just right it will click off. As to the fuel gauge. I believe that ours under-reads also. When it reads 1/2 a tank, I think it may be more. After many hours of watching the fuel gauge in our Dolphin I can definitely say that the first quarter (from full up the pipe) and the last quarter give use more run time than the second and third quarter readings (timed them on our travels). Now not to say that road/weather conditions aren't a factor to fuel useage that could change for each quarter, just a general observation we have made.

biker1800 may have fuel level sensor problem, but I found that when the gas station
nozzle kept 'popping' off indicating a full tank, but I could slowly add a lot more fuel. I
couldn't get the gas station nozzle to fit correctly into the RV's fill pipe because it
is located in a pocket & angle. The air return hose also dipped down , like a trap. Shortening both hoses corrected filler pipe angle & air return. Pictures show it more clearly. This may or may not be biker1800's problem, just something to check.
