Need some buying advice, Bounder vs. Sportscoach

Need some advice on purchasing 2008 Bounder diesel 38L vs. 2006 Sportscoach Cross Country SE. The Sportscoach has approx. 15K but has had to have the turbo replaced, otherwise in excellent condition. The Bounder has 25K, also excellent. Plan on spending 3 mos. or so each year in the coach. Pricing is similar.
Thanks for any help.

I can only tell you of my experience. When we were looking to purchase a class A we looked at quite a few coaches. We ended up with a 2006 Coachman 382DS Cross Country. I have never looked back. We really enjoy our coach and love the layout and have had no major problems in over 3 years and 20,000 miles. On the other hand I believe there is something to be said for buying something that the company is still in business.

Bruce. We had a 08 Bounder 38V Diesel and put 55K miles on it. Great Coach. Other than normal issues any MH would have, we only had 2 repair issues. The Freightliner electric cooling fan hub failed, but this was a common problem on all Cummins Diesels with the Freightliner fan. The other was a Electric leveling jack. The leveling jacks are electric/mechanical. The rubber cover over the electric motor deteriorated and allow water to get to in and causing the failure. So if you get the Bounder have all four checked. We only sold the coach to down size as we do not snowbird any longer and a smaller MH works better for us now. Hope this helps.

Looks as though both coaches would be a good choice. Guess I'll have to decide whether I want the 4 slides with the Bounder or 2 with the Cross Country. Thank you very much for the info and if I do go with the Bounder I will definitely have the leveling jacks checked. I'll let you know which one I decide on. Thanks again!
