Need to Locate Freightliner Wiper Switch
My wiper switch works, however the center button on it is frozen, preventing the washer from operating. I've searched but as yet have not found a supplier other than an overpriced, used, unit for $100 plus $9 shipping.
Looking for where I might find a supplier, turning up nada with google searches.
If I can't find one I may just add a separate button for the washer.

Check this thread, it includes lots of info about the wiper control, including a source to buy a replacement.

Thanks guys, I had searched the forum and come up with links which no longer worked, however, this:
http://rometruckparts.com/pdfs/contr...20Switches.pdf
turned up some wiper switches which will work. I'll need to check to see if I have one motor or two and also see how many pins on the existing plug. The trick is going to be converting the two connectors without any schematics for either one.

I have the same issue on my Bounder. I moved the washer motor plug over 1 terminal and put in a hot line to a rocker switch in an empty cutout next to the ICC Switch and connected it to the now empty terminal on the washer motor.

Please post your findings, I would much rather have a plug and play than mess with cutting the harness. Personally, I could live with a separate washer button, however, my concern is that the rest of the switch will take a hike at a most inconvenient time.

The part number for your switch is Denso S50597-9010. Call your local Freightliner dealer and see if they have the switch.

It looks just like mine on my Phaeton. Call Tiffin parts, 256-356-8661.
