Needing to pull motor out and need help!

So I've got a 91 Winnebago chieftain with the 454 in it. I'm wanting to pull the motor out and I've heard of a couple ways but I really need some help on the situation as I have no clue how to do it. Any help would be amazing!!

You know the options. Take it out the bottom or through the windshield are the common ways. Are you wanting to put it back together or just getting the engine out?

I'm just needing to get the motor and trany out. I'm going to be swapping it into a 84 Transam. But I'm wanting to not destroy the RV to get it out as I plan on using it for a hunting cabin

I don't know how yours is constructed, but my 1987 is designed for the drivetrain to be extracted through the front.

I saw a local shop converting a typical older class a to diesel. They had a long arm attached to a forklift, and pulled the engine out, and new in through the drivers door (Door & seat removed).

Not something you will do with a typical engine hoist. You might be able to put the hoist inside the RV, and left the engine, and then set some 4x4's under it, extending out the door. Then drag the engine on the 4x4's to the door, and lift it from the outside.

I would think that the least amount of damage to the interior would be to bring it out through the front. Cut what ever is in the way disconnect the beast and pull it out through the front.

Alright, thanks fhe help so far. If I come out the front I'm just worried about the clearance for the arm when I lift. And It would be a really tight fit coming out the driver door lol I'll have to take some measurements

Plus going the inside rout I'm worried about the floor holding up. The flooring is weak in a few places and I don't want to drop the motor cause the picker fell through the floor lol

Open the front. Jack the engine up from underneath. Roll the coach back. Repeat until you can start to lift from above.
