New Aire Shower Arm

2020 NewAire 3543
We wanted to replace our rain shower head with a showerhead that has an attached wand. To do that we’d have to replace the shower arm. Does the existing arm just unscrew? And can you just screw in a new one? Thank you in advance for responding

Is yours the square shaped arm that tilts up and down and has a knob on the right? If so, the arm comes off leaving the wall mount. Another person on FB said that the wall mount unscrews from the wall and you will have to attach a short threaded nipple to attach the new shower wall mount.

It's the round tube. I just added the photo.

I’m no plumber but I would think that is like any other shower arm. I would try and unscrew it using a strap wrench so as not to damage the tubing.

I agree with you, but just being cautious as I don't have access behind the wall.
If I find a solution. I will post here for anyone wanting to do the same.

I was just looking a NewAir on RVTrader, one of the for sale units had a nice conical transition from the shower arm pointing down to a flexable hose to the shower wand. Luck Dan

Already done in our New Aire

We have a 2020 3343 with the same shower arrangement. The previous owner already changed it out and put a flexible wand and shower handle head on. I have attached a picture that I had in my iPhoto but it is not a close up, as I am on business travel thru Sunday I won't be able to send you a closer picture until Thanksgiving. The install is fairly straightforward as you remove the old shower head and then attach the new head and hose and then put a mount on the side as you can see in the picture. Let me know if you have questions. Thanks.
Stan
