Would someone tell me the model of motorhome I just purchased used. It's a 2001 Winnebago, with a Workhorse 8.1 motor. I am trying to buy some parts for it and I cannot tell if it's P32 or an SE P32? Whats the difference?

Never heard of an "SE" P32, but maybe somebody else here knows if there is such a thing. And what source told you there is such a thing? Meanwhile, what is the VIN on this coach? And what sort of parts are you looking for?

A 2001 coach can have either a 2000 or 2001 chassis, depending on when it was made. Workhorse was building the P32 chassis then, not much changed from its Chevrolet forerunner. The W-series chassis was about to launch in 2001, but few 2001 model year coaches had a Wxx chassis.

Sounds like it's a P32 Workhorse chassis. I've never heard of an SE version though.

If you can find the VIN, post it in a new thread inside the Workhorse and Chevrolet forum below. There are some knowledgeable people that will be able to give you all kinds of information about the chassis if they know the number.

I have a '01 Winnebago Brave SE thats on a Workhorse P32 chassis. Perhaps the SE model is what you are thinking of?

I'll bet US1 has nailed it. The P32 chassis is configured differently to match the needs of each motorhome model, i.e. it can be made with different GVWRs (weight capacity), tire sizes, or exhaust pipes, but they are all "P32" Workhorse chassis. The particular variant used with your Brave may differ slightly from other P32s, but they are generally all the same model designation (as shown in the VIN)

Not sure if I'm doing this correctly. I recently took the motor home to Death Valley for a shake down run, I was all over the road. Looked underneath it, saw the front sway bar bushings were gone. That's when I started looking for a replacement. I bought a Roadmaster sway bar (P32) from Etrailer. I just called them to tell them I ordered the wrong item (there was only two bushings, the control arm as drilled out for the end of the sway bar) mine needs 4 bushings.

I found a work order, it said it was a Workhorse P 32 Base (whatever that means) the dealer info. says it's a WPF26P. it is a 26 ft. unit. (I think). And I don't know how I came up with the SE, I'm sure it was in my investigation. It's is VIN# 5B4KP57G013328531. So what is it a P32 Base or A WPF26P?

The KP57 indicates the GVWR is 14,001-16,000 lbs and it is a "Forward Control" P32 motorhome chassis. The G01 says it has an 8.1L engine and is year 2001.

The WPF26P is a Winnebago model code for the model and floor plan, designating the motorhome as a whole and not specific to the chassis. This document on the Winnebago site describes it: http://www.winnebagoind.com/service/...00/0wpf26p.pdf
